Wesfarmers Settles Curragh Met Coal Price at $328/Tonne

Reuters reported that prices for metallurgical coal from Wefarmers (ASX:WES) rose by over 50 percent over last quarter.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Wesfarmers said it expected sales volumes at the lower end of its 5.8 to 6.2 million tonne guidance range for the fiscal year due to the massive floods in Queensland earlier this year.
