US Weekly Coal Output Down Year-On-Year

Platts reported that coal production in the US was down 5.3% last week compared to the same week last year.

As quoted in the market news:

Production east of the Mississippi River totaled 8.1 million st in the week ended Saturday, while output west of the Mississippi was 10.4 million st.
