US Coal Production Falls 0.9% on Year in Week Ended Saturday

Platts reported that the Energy Information Administration said coal production in the US is down.

The market news is quoted as saying:

This production estimate — based on railcar loadings — is 1.5% higher than the previous week’s total and 0.9% below output in the comparable week in 2010, the EIA said.
