Unesco to assess mining at Mapungubwe

Mining Weekly.com reports that a group from Unesco will be visiting Mapunubwe to determine if Coal of Africa (ASX:CZA)  has inflicted any damage at their Vele mine.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

Coal of Africa Limited (CoAL), an Australia-based mining company, stopped certain construction activities at its new Vele coal mine after receiving a compliance notice from the department of environmental affairs in August.
