Ukraine’s July Coal Output Up 1.5% from June

Platts reported that coal output from Ukraine in July was up 1.5% over the previous month.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Output of thermal coal, which is used in power generation, increased to 4.8 million mt in July from 4.56 million mt in June. At the same time, Ukraine produced 2.02 million mt of coking coal, which is used in steel making, down from 2.16 million mt.
