Traders said UK stock levels were gradually returning to seasonal norms after an unusually high rate of replenishment in the 2008-2010 period which saw stockpiles peak at a record high 24.73 million mt in September 2009. Overall coal stocks in the country increased 4.5% during the month to 16.8 million mt, but were down 16.2.% on the year.
