U.S. May Ship More Coal, Raising European Supply, Macquarie Says

Bloomberg reported that Europe’s coal supply may be boosted by increased exports from the US.

U.S. steam-coal exports to Europe in the first quarter more than tripled from a year earlier to 4.9 million metric tons from 1.5 million tons, according to a report on the website of the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
