Two Striking Workers Killed at Forbes & Manhattan Coal’s S. African Mine

The Globe and Mail reported that two striking workers were killed in a clash with security officials at Toronto-based Forbes & Manhattan Coal’s mine in South Africa.

As quoted in the market report:

In the clash on Wednesday, about 100 striking workers tried to storm a locked mine-explosives armoury at a coal mine owned by Toronto-based Forbes & Manhattan Coal, but were dispersed by security guards, police said.
