Thermal Coal Price Falls in China as Stockpiles Rise

Bloomberg reported that the price for China thermal coal dropped due to lower demand.

As quoted in the market news:

Coal with an energy value of 5,500 kilocalories per kilogram slid 0.6 percent to a range of 765 yuan ($121) to 775 yuan a metric ton as of yesterday compared with a week earlier, according to data from the China Coal Transport and Distribution Association today.
