Tata Power Favoring Clean Energy Investments Over Coal

Bloomberg reported that Tata Power (BSE:500400) said it would invest in solar and wind projects before developing coal projects.

As quoted in the market news:

Tata Group, which owns Corus Group and Jaguar Land Rover, is focusing on new clean-energy investments as coal-powered projects face fuel shortages in India and environmental hurdles in the U.S. and Europe.
