Qld coal production to rise 80 per cent

The Sydney Morning Herald.com reports that  Queensland expects to increase coal production by 80% over the next 2o years.

The story is quoted as saying:

“The coal plan estimates that over the next 20 years, the Queensland coal industry has the potential to significantly increase its production of saleable coal from approximately 190 million tonnes per annum up to 34″
