Prospects Good for Coal Haulage Growth Despite China Headwinds

Platts reported that coal shipments in Australia are projected to be higher next year despite a decline in the previous quarter.

As quoted in the market news:

Pacific National continues to ramp up its business in its non-traditional market of Queensland where it is preparing for the January 2012 start of new coal haulage contracts for customers Anglo American and Macarthur and Gloucester Coal’s joint Middlemount operation.
