Premium Coking Coal Edges Higher on Chinese, European Interest

Platts reported that spot prices for premium coking coal was up slightly this week.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Mining and trading sources said they had received buying interest from Chinese steelmakers at above $300/mt FOB for premium low-vol HCC, with one source even claiming interest could be found up to $310/mt FOB, and that mills were eagerly inquiring whether any tonnage was available.
