Pike River contract staff left out in cold

NZ Herald.com reports that while current employees of Pike River Coal (ASX:PRC) will be paid out if they are told today they do not have jobs, but contractors and families of contractors killed in the recent mine diaster will likely be given nothing.

The story is quoted as saying:

Yesterday, receivers announced that 114 out of 157 Pike River staff would be made redundant immediately.
