Optimum Coal Independent Board Reviews Glencore Bid

Reuters reported that Glencore (LON:GLEN) is buying shares of Optimum Coal (JNB:OPT) as it expresses interest in acquiring the company.

The market news is quoted as saying:

To date, Glencore has completed the purchase of 25.8 percent of OCH’s shares but has options to buy more — at least 43 percent and as much as 49 percent, according to some shareholders.
