NTPC Coal Imports Short of May Target, India Coal Market Reports

Bloomberg reported that coal imports by NTPC (BOM:632555) fell slightly short of the company’s May target.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The Central Electricity Authority, a supervisory body, had set a target of 1.29 million tons for NTPC last month, according to the coal newsletter published by Kolkata-based online trading company mjunction Services Ltd.
