NSW Government Approves Wongawilli Coal Expansion

Mining Weekly reported that Gujarat NRE’s (BSE:512579) proposed expansion of its New South Wales Wongawilli mine has been approved by government.

As quoted in the market news:

The PAC has given written approval allowing Gujarat NRE to mine in the Wongawilli seam, in the north-eastern part of the lease and also to construct an underground roadway to provide access to the western portion of the lease.
