Mississippi Power Allowed to Keep Building Coal Plant

CNBC News reported that Mississippi Power Co. (NYSE:MPJ) has permission to continue construction on its coal plant for the time being.

As quoted in the market news:

Company spokesman Jeff Shepard said the project is still on track to be completed in 2014 and cost about $2.4 billion. The company, under previous PSC orders, can spend up to $2.88 billion.
