Indian Demand Boosts Richards Bay Coal Price

Platts reported that physical thermal coal was up at Richards Bay on increased demand from India.

As quoted in the market news:

During the morning, a January floating price trade went through the globalCOAL screen at a $1.60/mt premium to the API4 (FOB Richards Bay) index for 25,000 mt, with a European utility heard buying from a producer.
