Indian Coal Production Increases 2.3 Percent in January

Reuters reported that Indian coal production rose 2.3 percent in January, year-over-year, but that they still missed their target by 1.7 percent.

As quoted in the market report:

Total coal output in India, the world’s third-largest producer, grew 5.2 percent from a year earlier to 435.5 million tonnes during April to January, the figures showed.
