Industrial MetalsBloomberg reported that European coal prices were up for their third consecutive day.

The market news is quoted as saying:
Thermal coal for delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp with settlement next year rose 50 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $129.50 a metric ton as of 11:14 a.m. in London.
