Euro Coal-German Election Boosts Forward Coal Prices

Reuters reported that forward coal prices are gaining following the German elections.

The market news is quoted as saying:

German utility prompt buying of a few spot cargoes last week helped stabilise DES ARA prices which had been weakening but German buyers only looked for winter delivery coal, the season of peak coal-fired power demand.
