Continental Coal Secures $65 Million Penumbra Coal Mine Funding

Platts reported that Continental Coal (ASX:CCC) has received financing to develop its Penumbra Coal mine in South Africa.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The miner said it had received a committed financing offer from the division of ABSA Bank Ltd., a subsidiary of Barclays Bank, as well as final credit approval and completed due diligence finalizing Continental’s debt funding and related coal, foreign exchange and interest risk management facilities to develop the Penumbra coal mine.
