Coal Prices May Cause Buyers to Seek Alternatives

Financial Post reported that cheaper sources of energy may be preferred as the cost of producing coal increases.

As quoted in the market news:

The rising cost profile of coal also comes at a time when alternatives are getting cheaper, with the shale gas revolution in the United States driving the price of natural gas down 85 percent since its all-time high in 2008, and by 36 percent since the start of this year.
