Coal India Plans to Seek Coal in May for Delivery Starting July

Bloomberg reported that Coal India (BOM:533278) is seeking 20 million metric tons of coal for July delivery.

The market news is quoted as saying:

India’s need for coal has been spurred by the expansion of power generation and steel-making capacity to meet demand in Asia’s second-fastest growing major economy.
