Mining Weekly reported that Cliffs Natural Resources subsidiary Cliffs Australia Coal completed the sale of their 45% interest in the Sonoma coal mine, to JV partners QCoal Sonoma and JS Sonoma (JSS).
As quoted in the market report:
Cliffs divested its interests in the Sonoma mine along with its ownership of the wash plant by selling 90% of its interest to QCoal and the remaining 10% to JSS for about A$141-million in cash.
