China’s Demand for Coal Expected to Increase

Mineweb reported that China’s coal needs will continue to increase even though economic growth may be slowing.

As quoted in the market news:

In April, China imported 25.05 million tonnes of coal of all types (lignite included), higher by 17.1% from a month earlier, and 90.1% higher than a year ago.
