Challenger Deep Resources Corp seeks coal rights

The Winnipeg Free Press reports that Challenger Deep Resources Corp (TSXV:CDE) is in the process of acquiring coal exploration rights inEast Kalimantan, Indonesia, through its’ subsidiary Bestindo Energy.

The story is quoted as saying:

Bestindo will pay a total of C$1.85 million cash in stages over 18 months to acquire PT Alam Tabang Raya Pratama, a private Indonesian company that holds the exploration rights.
