Carbon Price Won’t Hurt Coal Industry: Bligh

Sydney Morning Herald reported that Australia’s Premier claims new carbon pricing won’t have an adverse effect on coal mining in the country.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Ms Bligh said the Queensland economy would experience 3.5 per cent annual growth, compared with 3.6 per cent without the carbon price.
