Australia Newcastle Thermal Coal Falls 0.1% to $123.42 a Ton

Bloomberg reported that thermal coal prices at the Newcastle Terminal dropped by a tenth of a percent.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Xstrata Plc (XTA), the world’s largest exporter of power-station coal, BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP) and Rio Tinto Group are among mining companies that ship coal through Newcastle.
