Platts reported that coal exports from Australia’s PWCS terminals to Japan are increasing again following last year’s earthquake and tsunami.
As quoted in the market news:
The coal terminal operator loaded 6.4 million mt of thermal and coking coal exports into ships bound for Japan in March, equating to 64.5% of its total exports of 7.15 million mt for the month, PWCS said in an operations report on its website Monday.
