Reuters Africa reported that Australia’s thermal coal prices are down following the earthquake in Japan.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Thermal coal on the globalCOAL Newcastle index for the week to date was $125.79 per tonne on Wednesday, down from $130.33 a week earlier.
