Arch Coal: Named Amongst Top Business Technology Innovators, Earns 7th Consecutive InformationWeek 500 Award

Arch Coal, Inc. (NYSE: ACI) ranked in the top 250 Business Technology Innovators of the 2012 InformationWeek 500, marking the 7th consecutive year of recognition for the company.

Arch Coal most notably was recognized for the speed of integration following a major acquisition.  In May 2011, Arch Coal announced the $3.4 billion acquisition of International Coal Group (ICG), a leading global metallurgical coal supplier with more than 3,000 employees.
