Timmins Unlikely to be Cliffs Choice for Chromite Smelter

The Sudbury Star reported that Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF) will likely choose a location other than Timmins to construct its chromite smelter.

As quoted in the market news:

Timmins has been vying to be the site for a ferrochrome production facility connected with the chromite mine. However, Capreol has already been identified by Cliffs as the preferred site.
