Oman has Chromite Mining Potential

Oman Daily Observer reported that Oman is trying to develop its mining sector, which has potential for several metals including chromite.

As quoted in the market news:

Presently, Oman is mining and processing several rocks and minerals, including building materials, chromite, shale/clay, gypsum, gold, silver, low grade iron ore (laterite), limestone, marble, salt and quartzite. Mining and processing of building materials group exceeds in value and tonnage compared to all the other rocks and minerals being produced.
