Chromium Market to See Expansion in Coming Years

MarketWatch reported that a chromium market review published by Merchant Research & Consulting Ltd. states that the chromium market is likely to expand in coming years.

As quoted in the market news:

The metallurgical and aerospace industries, and industrial gas turbines manufacture are all contributing to the chromium demand growth at large extent. The application of chromium in the stainless steel production is growing year-on-year.

The largest chromium reserves belong to Kazakhstan — according to approximate estimations, around 50%, however the major producer of the material is South Africa which supplies more than 40% of the material on the global market.
