Dominion Diamond Corp. (TSX:DDC,NYSE:DDC) announced that the Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board (MVEIRB) has completed an environmental assessment report for the company’s Jay project. It recommends that the project be approved subject to measures described in the report.
Brendan Bell, CEO of Dominion Diamond, commented:
Dominion thanks the MVEIRB for their work on the project and looks forward to a timely decision by the Minister. We would also like to thank all the communities for their active interest and participation throughout the environmental assessment process.
