Asscher Diamond Company Becomes Royal Jeweler – Again

The Queen of the Netherlands extended the title of Royal jeweler to Asscher Diamond Company for the second time.

The press release is quoted as saying:

Royal Asscher…continues the tradition today of innovation and integrity with a heavy involvement in the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF). Royal Asscher’s involvement with the DEF aims to establish education, healthcare, and self-sufficiency programs in Africa’s diamond-producing areas.
