Mineweb reported a Chinese court has deported 12 Indian diamond traders  on charges of smuggling diamonds worth $7.3 million.

As quoted in the market news:

Twelve of the 22 Indian diamond traders, detained in China on charges of smuggling, are to be deported to India following a Chinese court order. The traders, hailing from Gujarat, were arrested by the local anti smuggling bureau of customs at Shenzhen in Guangdong province in southern China in January 2010.
