Equinox Copper Corp. CEO, Corey Dias said:

We are very excited to have commenced the shipping of copper oxides to Enami. Moreover, the average grade of copper oxides for which Enami has paid us is 2.3 per cent, relatively in line with our early expectations. The profit generated from the sale of ore will help to fund further exploration and development activities at Aura. While the majority of this ore was sourced from our primary target on our first land concession — Margarita — we continue to identify other mineralized zones on the property. We are pleased with the first set of assay results we have received from our initial drill program at Binghampton Copper Queen. We are encouraged by the fact that six of seven drill holes intersected significant copper mineralization. Based on these results, our second phase of drilling will now target the copper oxide mineralization we have already encountered at less than 50 metres from surface.”
