Western Australia Changes Uranium Mining Ban

Mining Weekly reported Western Australia’s Mark McGowan has announced a shift in the region’s uranium mining ban relaxing the rules.

As quoted in the market news:

McGowen has announced Labor would allow uranium mines already approved by the Colin Barnett government to continue if it were elected into power, but that it would not approve any new ones.
