As quoted in the market news,

Salazar’s preferred decision would block new uranium mining claims for the next 20 years on more than one million acres of federal land adjacent to the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

The Environmental Protection Agency has 30 days to review the final environmental impact statement, as required by the National Environmental Policy Act, before Salazar can formally issue his decision.
