Uranium Ban Sours Ties With India

SMH reported Julia Gillard’s push to end Australia’s ban on uranium exports to India promises more than an improvement in diplomatic ties with Delhi.

As quoted in the market news:

Assuming Gillard can convince her party to back the change, it will help rebuild our battered image in India after the spate of attacks on Indian students between mid 2009 and early last year. It will also benefit companies seeking to do business in India.
