CP reports  Ur-Energy Inc.receives a permit from Wyoming state officials to build and operate waste water retention ponds at its Lost Creek uranium project, Wyoming.

Ur-Energy said the state’s permit marks “substantial progress” in finalizing permits for the Lost Creek project which are underway with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and a land quality regulatory body.

“I am looking forward to completing work on the remaining licenses and permits with the various state and federal regulatory agencies over the coming months,” said the company’s vice-president of mining and engineering Wayne Heili.
