Toro Energy Obtains Approval for Wiluna Uranium Mine, Subject to 36 Conditions
The International Business Times reported that Toro Energy has been granted approval by Australia’s federal government for its proposed uranium mining at Wiluna however it is subject to 36 conditions including setting up certain measures to safeguard the local groundwater from radiation.

Prior to issuance of a permit by Energy Minister Tony Burke, the WA state government gave its approval for the project. New Resources Minister Gary Gray also backed the planned uranium mine slated to begin operations in 2014.
