Spot Uranium To Bottom in 2012

Mineweb reported spot uranium prices are expected to bottom out in 2012, according to Scotiabank’s Economist Patricia Mohr.

As quoted in the market news:

In the May 10^th edition of the Scotiabank Commodity Price Index, Mohr noted that Japan’s Prime Minister “favours a relatively quick restart of Japan’s nuclear power (due to the high cost to the economy and industry of imported oil, LNG and coal) and the potential that high electricity prices and shortages may trigger a shift in manufacturing capability overseas.’
