Now we’ve got the Cambodian government scrubbing plans to build nuclear power plants.
But the Greens can’t cheer just yet: thermal (for which read: coal) power will be the generation of choice. The decision makers in Phnom Penh didn’t want a repeat of Fukushima – apparently ignoring the fact that the latest reactor is somewhat advanced on the 40-year-old Japanese installation.
