Italy court approves nuclear energy referendum

Reuters reports Italy’s constitutional court approves a national referendum on the revival of nuclear power production.

The market news is quoted  as saying:

Italy is the only Group of Eight industrialised nation without nuclear power, but Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi aims to resurrect it and have a quarter of all electricity in the country generated by nuclear plants in the future.
