Hard-won lessons for Cameco at Cigar Lake

The Province reports the ‘hard-won leesons’ with Cigar Lake deposit.

The project has seen nearly a billion dollars poured into it and billions of litres of water pumped out of it — the result of major floods in 2006 and 2008.

But Cameco Corp., the operator and 50-per-cent owner of the Cigar Lake mine, can see light at the end of the tunnel.
