The Star Phoenix reports Fission Energy Corp. (TSXV:FIS) will fund its uranium exploration at Waterbury Lake during the next 3 years.
The announcement comes as details about the company’s memorandum of understanding with the KEPCO Consortium regarding the Waterbury Lake site — which contains the J-Zone uranium discovery — were released to the public. Under the agreement, which sees each party holding a 50 per cent interest in the site, $10 million will be spent on the property each year for the next three years, with funding split between the two groups.
